A decade after Lee et al. (2015) introduced the notion of algorithmic management in the context of Uber and Lyft, it has become to analyse a critical lens for understanding how algorithms are reshaping managerial processes in diverse jobs and organizational settings.
In this session of the AlgoWork PhD-Table, we aim to explore the next frontiers of algorithmic management research and discuss what is needed to create meaningful impact across organizations and within the research community. The session will feature a mix of moderated brainstorming and open discussion.
