AI has found its way into most fields of work in a very short time. In the platform economy, classic management tasks are already being handled by software algorithms instead of humans. To prepare its students for the changing world of work, the Department of Law and Economics at TU Darmstadt is offering the course “Algorithmic Management: Management in the Era of Artificial Intelligence” for the first time. We asked those responsible about what exactly Algorithmic Management (AM) entails, what the course contents are, and where this development is leading us.
