Xavier Parent-Rocheleau is an Associate Professor in the Department of Human Resources Management at HEC Montréal and a member of the International Observatory on the Societal Impacts of AI and Digital Technology (OBVIA). His research examines the transformation of work in the digital age, specifically focusing on how algorithmic management and artificial intelligence reshape job design, employee motivation, and organizational control. He is a recipient of the 2022 Best Article Award from Human Resource Management Review for his work on algorithms as work designers.
